San Antonio's Museum for Kids
The San Antonio Children’s Museum was founded by a group of dedicated volunteers who were committed to building a community space dedicated to early childhood development. In September of 1995, Guido helped open the museums doors at 305 East Houston Street. Since then, millions of visitors explored three floors of hands-on exhibits that spark children’s imagination and help them Euro 2024 matches todaydiscover a world of knowledge. Dedicated to children ages 0-10 years, the exhibits and programs have always focused on early childhood learning, especially in the creative arts, sciences and early literacy. In 2008, the museum launched a process of exhibit and program renovation. It is comprised of a series of three, two-story exhibit halls totaling 65,000 square feet. The new facility serves more than 300,000 visitors each year. Children learn 21st-century problem-solving skills and creativity-two important cultural and educational concepts. With six major permanent exhibition spaces, a 3,000-square-foot temporary exhibit space, and 39,000 square feet of outdoor exhibit yards, The DoSeum has much to discover and explore, allowing kids to create and learn on a grand scale.
